Original "naked" tulip in terms of shape and colours. Beautiful "naked" presence. Translation: Original "naked" tulip in terms of shape and colours. Beautiful "naked" presence. Analysis: There are no spelling or grammatical errors in the translated text. The phrase "Belle tenue" has been translated as "Beautiful 'naked' presence," which may not convey the intended meaning accurately. The term "tenue" can refer to the way something holds itself or its overall appearance. In this context, it seems that "tenue" refers to the tulip's overall appearance. Therefore, a more accurate translation would be "Beautiful 'naked' appearance" or "Beautiful 'naked' form.

Description

The new 'Magic Wings' Lily-Flowered Tulip is a remarkable variety with its white colour streaked with red-violet. The flowers are long and slender, and open in the shape of stars in April-May.

This tulip has a long, sturdy stem resistant to bad weather that can reach a height of 55cm (22in) when fully ripened. This new variety thrives in sunny flower beds.

The lily-flowered tulip pairs well with biennials like wallflowers. When cut, it will make beautiful bouquets. We recommend planting Heucheras, Tiarellas, Brunneras, bleeding hearts, and cypress spurge in the foreground of your flower beds, as their foliage will enhance the colours of your tulips and, as the season progresses, elegantly hide their yellowing leaves.

Planting and care

Place the lily-flowered tulips 'Magic Wings' preferably in a sunny location from October to December for a beautiful spring flowering. You can also place them in a partially shaded area. Plant the bulbs as soon as possible in a light, fertile, and well-drained soil, loosened to a depth of 15cm (6in) (bulbs should be covered with twice their height of soil). Space the bulbs 10cm (4in) apart, making sure they do not touch each other to create a mass effect that will give a more decorative appearance. Cut the flowering stems after flowering. Allow the leaves to dry completely before cutting them.
