Description

Be enchanted by the colour of the giant fennel, for it is a stunning perennial, but not only that because in the past, its whip-like stems were used to "tame" schoolchildren.

The Tangier giant fennel is similar to the common giant fennel. It differs by its longer, curled, greyish leaf segments, its flatter inflorescences, and its much larger size. A spectacular young plant in a warm location with rich, moist, well-drained soil.
