PKS
A copper alloy digging fork equipped with a hard wood handle and a 4-pronged bronze blade. It is a very fine hand tool designed for digging, working, and turning any type of even hard and compact soil, as well as uprooting and removing. This tool is guaranteed for 2 years.

This jointed copper digging fork, Antares model from the PKS Bronze range, the namesake brand of the famous Austrian ecologist and naturalist, is perfect for working and turning any type of soil, even hard, stony, and compacted soil, as well as for uprooting and pulling out. Equipped with a very hard ash handle and a 4-tine bronze blade, it is a very durable and high-quality garden tool that will satisfy demanding gardeners and lovers of fine tools. The head of this tool, made of a copper alloy, will deposit micro-particles in the soil over time, thereby contributing to its enrichment with this natural soil component.

Dimensions of the tines: 22cm (9in) - Width of the head: 16cm (6in) - Length of the handle: 112cm (44in)

The digging fork is a versatile and complementary tool to the spade, designed for digging, loosening, cultivating, and breaking up the soil deeply. It is much more suitable than the spade for working difficult, stony, clayey, heavy, and compacted soils. It allows for loosening the soil without turning it over, simply by penetrating with its tines. Unlike the spade, this garden tool does not disturb the soil's microbial life and does not sever earthworms, which are essential for soil health and fertility. It can be used to pull out weeds, as well as certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips), and to divide large clumps of perennial plants. It is also used for uprooting and transplanting plants, removing stones, and bringing up pest larvae.

The PKS Bronze company is an Austrian company specializing in the production of traditional tools made of copper alloy. Copper tools are indestructible, they do not rust, and last a lifetime. They also have the advantage of not needing sharpening. Finally, they are also elegant, as the aesthetics of copper bring a noble and silky aspect. Copper tools, with their extreme longevity, are the faithful companions of their owners for decades.

Directions for use The fork is a versatile tool that complements the spade, designed for digging, loosening, loosening and crumbling the soil deeply. It is much better suited than the spade for working difficult, stony, clayey or heavy and compacted soils. It allows to loosen the soil without turning it over, simply by dislocating it with the penetration of the tines. This garden tool is also used to pull out weeds, as well as certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips), and to divide large clumps of perennial plants. It is also used to pull out and transplant plants, remove stones, and bring up pest larvae. To maintain the beautiful appearance of your copper tool, we recommend cleaning it with a hard brush after each use and storing it away from moisture. Once a year, you can sand the handle with fine sandpaper and oil it with a mixture of linseed oil and turpentine for easier application. Dilute half and half, and for faster drying of the handle, use boiled linseed oil.
