Description
Lantana Bloomify™ White (Baloomwite) is an innovative variety from the Bloomify™ series, certified 100% sterile, featuring floriferous and vigorous cultivars. Its rounded clusters of flowers transition through a beautiful gradient of colours: opening in a sunny yellow, quickly turning to a pastel yellow, before transforming into a pure white. This uninterrupted flowering lasts from summer until the first frosts. An excellent variety for flower beds and large containers!
Lantana 'Bloomify White' is a small, bushy shrub from the Verbenaceae family. The origins of its wild parent, Lantana camara, also known as lantana or common camara, span a vast area including Mexico, Central America, the Greater Antilles, the Bahamas, Colombia, and Venezuela. It has naturalised in many subtropical regions where it is considered invasive. This Lantana has given rise to numerous cultivars, among which are the sterile 'Bloomify' hybrids, which are non-invasive and do not produce seeds. Compared to traditional varieties, this series stands out for its excellent branching, strong vigour, and dense, sustained flowering. The 'White' variety reaches 40 cm in all directions within a single season. Compared to the 'Lucky' cultivars, it is later to flower, with a delay of 1 to 2 weeks.
Lantana 'Bloomify White' thrives in full sun and flourishes in light, well-drained, even quite poor soil. It is low-maintenance and only requires regular watering during periods of intense heat. Pair it with plants featuring vibrant or contrasting hues, such as calibrachoas or petunias in flowering containers. In flower beds, it pairs well with robust perennials like Nepeta or gaura, which will add texture and movement to your summer borders.
Note: Please be aware that plug plants are products intended for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them under cover (conservatory, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C for a few weeks before moving them outdoors once the risk of frost has completely passed.

Planting and care
You can plant Lantana Bloomify 'White' in the ground or in pots. If planting them in the ground, wait until the last frosts have passed (they can tolerate a light frost). In the meantime, you can grow them on in pots in a warm and bright location to accelerate their growth. Plant your Lantanas in a sunny or partially shaded spot. They require a light, humus-bearing soil and benefit from fertiliser. They can tolerate occasional dry spells. In pots, they should be watered regularly. Typically grown as annuals, they are actually tender perennials: by bringing them indoors at the first frost, you can extend their flowering into autumn and winter. Outdoor cultivation is possible by the seaside, provided they are well mulched in winter. Light pruning in March is recommended.

- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.

In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
