Description

Calibrachoa Sweet Bells Cappucino Compact is a very floriferous and long-lasting annual plant with a compact ball-like habit. Its flowers, small but very numerous, are light peach-yellow veined with intense violet and bloom from spring until the first frost.

Calibrachoa Sweet Bells is ideal for hanging baskets, containers, or pots. It reaches a height of 30 to 40 cm (12 to 16in).

Drought and heat tolerant, Calibrachoa Sweet Bells thrive in sunny locations. Calibrachoa Cappuccino Compact has rapid and vigorous growth. It is a recent introduction.

Beautiful combination with Verbena and Surfinia Petunias.

Note: Please be advised that our plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners. Upon receipt, transplant and store them in a sheltered location (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before placing them outdoors once the risk of frost has passed.

Planting and care

You can plant your Sweet Bells Cappuccino Compact Calibrachoas in the ground or in pots. If you want to plant them in the ground, wait until the last heavy frosts have passed. In the meantime, you can pre-cultivate them in pots in a warm and bright place to accelerate their growth. The Sweet Bells Calibrachoas will flower from June to October. Plant your Sweet Bells Calibrachoa in a sunny location sheltered from the wind. They need a light and humus-rich soil, but above all well-drained. Do not overwater them at the beginning of their growth as they are sensitive to excess moisture. They tolerate drought well, but will need regular watering during hot summer weather. Very floriferous and fast-growing, they are hungry plants. We recommend feeding them with a liquid fertiliser for surfinias once or twice a week during the growing season. Remove faded flowers and dry leaves as they appear to keep them looking good and extend the flowering period.
