The young plant seems to have suffered from the delay in delivery, which was a bit long... It is advisable to wait and see if the young plant recovers as it should. To be continued...

Description

Echinacea purpurea 'Cranberry Cupcake' is a perennial plant that blooms from July to September. It produces large double pompom flowers with downward-facing petals. These flowers are cranberry pink.

This purple Echinacea, an improvement on the 'Razzmatazz' variety, has a compact habit and can reach a height of 35 to 40cm (14 to 16in). It is very hardy and has deciduous foliage. Echinacea, native to the United States, is a beautiful ornamental plant that enhances both dried and fresh bouquets for a long time. It can be found in flower beds, perennial borders, and also in pots with grasses as companions.

'Cranberry Cupcake' is also a melliferous plant that attracts birds and butterflies. It is used in homeopathy. It is a perennial that takes quite a while to establish itself.

Planting and care

Echinacea 'Cranberry Cupcake' enjoys a sunny or slightly shaded exposure. Plant it in a regular, moist and deep soil, preferably well-drained. It withstands climatic variations such as drought, heat and humidity, and accepts any type of soil. The vine-plant is greedy, which is why regularly add a good fertilizer so that it can fully flourish. Prune the stems when the flowers have faded to promote the next flowering.
