Arrived in good condition, I planted the young aster in my flowerbed. The aster has flowered this autumn: lovely little pink star-shaped flowers, just like in the picture.

Planting and care

Plant in well-drained soil, covering the top of the root ball by 3 cm (1in). Not very demanding, they can adapt to any type of soil. However, waterlogged soils in winter can kill them. Asters are more or less susceptible to mildew. We recommend treating them preventively with a spray of Bordeaux mixture every 15 days from spring to autumn. Mulch all asters every year in November after cutting them back. You can divide them in late autumn or early spring if they become too large.
