Thanks to the individuals (Anne Flore for order preparation and Marina from the shipping service), the 3 specific research area plants received are in dormancy. Planted near the "Claude Brasseur" & "Pierre Perret" roses, I am now patiently awaiting the spring reawakening (or not)...

Description

Aster dumosus 'Lady in Blue' produces an abundance of small lavender-blue flowers resembling daisies. The plant blooms every year from September to October. It has a compact habit. It is ideal in the front of a border or in a container on a patio.

 

Aster dumosus are sturdy plants. They are ideal for bringing life to the garden in late summer and early autumn. In wildflower gardens, their inflorescences create a beautiful airy effect.

Planting and care

Plant in well-drained soil, covering the top of the root ball by 3cm (1in). Not very demanding, they can thrive in any type of soil. However, stagnant moisture in winter can be fatal to them. Asters are susceptible to mildew. Mulch all asters every year in November after cutting them back. You can divide them in late autumn or early spring if they become too large.
