Darwin hybrid tulips are undoubtedly the most well-known of all. All the cultivars gathered in this group also have in common large single corollas, displaying very vibrant colours, carried by very sturdy stems sometimes up to 70cm (28in) tall. Their bulbs are easy to cultivate. They are planted in the autumn, in ordinary, moist to dry soil in summer, loose, well-worked and well-drained. Darwin hybrid tulips appreciate a sunny or semi-shaded exposure. And to enjoy their large flowers for several years, it is preferable to feed the bulbs with a dedicated fertilizer, and to dig them up in summer, to replant them in autumn.

You'll adore them!
