The Triumph Tulip 'Mango Charm' is a robust variety that has a long-lasting flowering in a delightful blend of peachy pink and orange. A changing colour, both soft, warm, and fruity, quite rare in the garden, which never fails to attract attention in spring beds. As always with triumph tulips, the flower stem is strong against bad weather and perfect in a vase. This variety blooms in the middle of the tulip season, in April-May depending on the regions.
The 'Mango Charm' Tulip belongs to the Lily family. Of horticultural origin, obtained in 2012 in the Netherlands, it is currently classified in the 'Triumph' group, whose main characteristic is to have narrow cup-shaped flowers. Perched on 50cm (20in) tall stems, well above the broadly lanceolate leaves of a slightly bluish green, the 4 to 6cm (2in) flowers in diameter, elegant and simple, go from tender green to a mix of peachy pink, creamy yellow, salmon pink, and soft orange, with all these tones becoming warmer and brighter at full bloom. They easily harmonize with a whole range of soft colours in flower beds. They have a narrow cup shape, showing six "petals" (more precisely tepals) of thick and slightly translucent substance. They are carried by very strong stems, perfect in flower beds or in a vase. The leaves of this tulip measure from 10 to 35cm (4 to 14in) long, they emerge from the ground from the end of winter and dry up a few weeks after flowering, at the beginning of summer.
The Triumph Tulip 'Mango Charm' finds its place in large flower beds. Its freshness allows for associations with tulips in white, pink, mauve, pale yellow, orange, black, or blue flowers (Forget-me-nots, Grape Hyacinths, Scillas, Hyacinths), in beautiful pastel and romantic compositions. This also maximizes the flowering period of the flower beds. Pair it with daffodils, jonquils, hyacinths, or even Corsican Hellebores and Euphorbias, and you will obtain surprising scenes. It can also be planted in borders, rockeries, flower beds, as well as in pots and planters. This tulip beautifully enhances balconies and terraces. It pairs perfectly with tall perennials and is ideal for creating elegant bouquets. In a vase, use very little water, just a bottom is enough! Moreover, if your tulips open too quickly, you can add two to three ice cubes in the vase every day.

Planting and care
Place the 'Mango Charm' Triumph tulips in a sunny location preferably or partially shaded and sheltered from the wind. Plant them from mid-October to mid-November for optimal spring flowering. Plant the bulbs in well-drained and deeply loosened soil at a depth of 15cm (6in). Space the bulbs 10cm (4in) apart without touching each other to create a mass effect; cut the flower stalks after flowering. Allow the leaves to dry completely before cutting them.
