Yellow Orange and Purple Hyacinth Collection

The Yellow, Orange, and Purple Hyacinth Collection offers a festival of warm colours in the garden from early spring. These bulbs provide abundant flowering in the form of beautiful clusters filled with star-shaped bell flowers. You can plant them in autumn in your flower beds, borders, or pots. They thrive in well-drained, rich soil and full sun. The bulbs can withstand temperatures as low as -15°C and are resistant to summer drought.

The collection includes:

5 'Gipsy Queen' Hyacinths: Its dense spikes display an intermediate colour between soft coral pink and orange, an uncommon and very gentle shade, accompanied by a delightful fragrance. This lovely variety blooms in mid-spring, in April.

5 'Gipsy Princess' Hyacinths: This variety produces large spikes of intense creamy yellow, excellent for both vase and garden display. Its single flowers release a sweet fragrance that can perfume the entire house. It blooms in the middle of the hyacinth season, in March-April.

5 'Woodstock' Hyacinths: A very unique variety with its superb purple colour, intermediate between pink and violet. Clustered in dense spikes, its single and highly fragrant flowers bloom in March-April, for 2 to 3 weeks.

Bulbs are labelled and packaged separately.

These hyacinths are ideally planted in autumn. The bulbs should be planted at a depth of 10-15 cm, with a spacing of 15 cm between each plant, at a rate of 25 bulbs per square metre. Hyacinths prefer light, well-drained soil and prefer full sun exposure.

To complement this collection, choose 'Queen of the Night' tulips, with their almost black flowers, they will bloom in May. Plant 10 bulbs behind the hyacinths. To add a sunny touch to your flower bed, add 15 'Hawera' daffodils with their delicate foliage and small yellow flowers in the foreground. To perfect the scene, mix in some 'Blue Shades' blanda anemones with their pastel blue flowers.
