Unlike the "special carrot plates" (from another brand I believe), this plate seems sturdy and long-lasting. I did a first series of sowings on it a few days ago. Everything seems optimal for now.

This black plastic culture tray, composed of 150 small growing cells, is ideal for successfully sowing flowers and vegetables. Well-maintained, it can be reused for at least five years. Store it away from light after use. Watering can be done using a watering can with a spray or through capillary action by placing a piece of carpet under the culture tray and regularly moistening it.

This reusable 150-cell seedling tray (volume 0.017 litres) from Soparco is suitable for both amateur and professional gardeners. Made of sturdy black plastic, it features 150 small growing cells where it will be easy to sow flower and vegetable seeds, before storing it in a bright and heated place to facilitate germination. Once the seedlings are developed enough to be handled, simply extract them gently from their cell and transplant them into a bucket, pot, or garden soil. With proper maintenance, you can reuse this seedling tray for at least 5 years. Store it away from light after use.

The growing tray measures 50 cm (20in) long by 33 cm (13in) wide and 4 cm (2in) high. It is made of black, matte plastic material that is rigid enough to be easily handled. It has 150 very small growing cells measuring 4 cm (2in) in height and 2.8 cm (1in) in diameter at the top, all in one piece. This facilitates filling the cells with potting soil, placement, sowing, handling, care, watering, and transplanting. Watering can be done using a watering can with a fine nozzle or through capillary action, such as placing a piece of carpet that can be moistened under the seedling tray. This way, the plant is protected from excessive watering while still receiving regular water supply with a consistently moist substrate.

This model is available in different sizes, from a 15-cell tray with 8cm (3in) cells to a 260-cell tray with 2.2cm (1in) cells, to meet the needs of every gardener. Directions for use Place your sowing tray on a suitable surface: table, shelf, etc. Fill each of the growing cells with special sowing compost. Sow your seeds following the instructions for each plant, watering lightly. Store in a light, heated room. Make sure the potting soil is always slightly moist but not soggy. Watering can be done by capillary action, for example by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten under the seedbed. In this way, the plant will be protected from over-aggressive watering but will also benefit from a regular supply of water and a substrate that will always be moist. You'll also find a 2cm high saucer suitable for all Soparco reusable seed trays to keep the substrate moist for a long time—reference: XIOA0001 (Saucer for recoverable seedling tray). Once the seedlings are well developed, carefully remove them from each culture cell to repot them individually in a larger pot or plant them directly in the ground. Fill in with a substrate suited to the plant (potting soil, mix of soil and potting soil, etc.) Water to pack the soil well around the roots. The seed tray can be reused. Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
