I haven't tested it for leeks yet, but at first glance, it looks great to me. Good quality, I recommend it, you can put it about half an inch deep.

Well-maintained, you can reuse it for several years. Store it away from light after use. Watering can be done using a watering can with a rose, or through capillary action by placing a piece of carpet under the culture plate that will be regularly moistened. Sold in packs of 3 units.

This 60-cell tray special for leeks by Soparco is a very practical accessory designed for amateur or professional use. Made of sturdy black plastic, it features 60 growing pots in which it will be easy to germinate and cultivate young plants. You can sow and transplant your leek or spring onion seedlings in it, and store it in a bright and heated place, in a greenhouse or in a conservatory. Once the seedlings are sufficiently developed, simply remove them gently from their cell and transplant them into the soil of the vegetable garden. With proper care, you can reuse this seed tray for several years. Store it away from light after use.

The growing tray measures 40 cm (16in) long by 15.5 cm (6in) wide and 4.8 cm (2in) high. It is made of black plastic, slightly satin-finished, and rigid enough to be easily handled. It has 60 small square growing cells, with a volume of 19 cubic centimeters, all in one piece. This facilitates filling the cells with potting soil, placement, sowing, handling, care, watering, and transplanting. Watering can be done with a watering can fitted with a fine rose, or by capillary action, for example by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten under the seed tray. This way, the plant will be protected from excessive watering and will benefit from regular water supply with a substrate that will always be moist.

Directions for use Place your sowing tray on a suitable support: table, shelf... Fill each of the cells with special sowing compost. Sow your seeds following the instructions for each plant, water with a fine rain. Store it in a bright and heated room. Make sure the compost always remains slightly moist, but not waterlogged. Watering can be done by capillarity, for example by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten, under the sowing tray. The plant will thus be protected against aggressive watering and will benefit, on the other hand, from a regular water supply with a substrate that will always be moist. You can also place a saucer with a height of 2cm (1in) suitable for all recoverable Soparco sowing trays, allowing for lasting substrate moistening. Once the seedlings are well developed, carefully remove them from each culture cell to transplant them individually into a larger pot or plant them directly in the ground. Fill with a substrate suitable for the plant (compost, a mixture of soil and compost...). Water to compact the soil around the roots. The sowing tray is reusable. Store it away from the sun, in a dry place.
