I bought some burgundy lobelias and planted them in well-drained soil in partial shade, alongside columbines, valerians, and phlox, but they are the only ones that haven't flowered yet... I'm not sure I understand what they need based on the information above: planting them in dry to moist soil in the "planting" section, and then moist soil in the "maintenance" section... These plants require very well-drained soil. Is it possible to achieve that with moist soil?
