Neck received in perfect condition I went straight to pick up the parcel as soon as it arrived at the collection point so that the young plants wouldn't suffer too much. Carefully packaged Young plants in bud or already starting to emerge after a week. Just need to see if they withstand the frost well this winter and I will be delighted.

Description

The perennial cornflower, an excellent hardy perennial plant, needs no introduction. It grows everywhere, in both heavy and light soils, in sun or shade. Out of fashion for a while, cornflowers are making a comeback with new colours. Be careful, you might fall in love!

The Centaurea montana 'Amethyst Dream' has large deep purple flowers with wide heads, carried on stiff stems.

This variety pairs perfectly with dark-leaved heucheras and provides a striking contrast with golden-leaved Carex.
