Not having any hindsight on the young plants, I wouldn't dare to make a comment. However, the quality of the delivery and the packaging, yes! They are simply superb!

Description

Anemone x hybrida 'Rosenschale' is a beautiful hardy perennial that blooms in September and October. It boasts large, semi-double pink flowers with a purplish reverse.

This 1.2m (4ft) tall perennial plant has sucker-forming roots. It produces basal leaves with 3 finely divided leaflets, measuring 10 to 20cm (4 to 8in). They are ovate, medium green, and slightly hairy on the underside. The stems bear smaller leaves with small petioles. They produce umbels of flat, cup-shaped, pink to purplish, semi-double flowers, 8cm (3in) in diameter. They have a compound pistil that is globose and green-yellow, surrounded by a large cluster of dark yellow stamens.

'Rosenschale' grows in deep, moist, humus-rich, and well-drained soil, in a semi-shaded or gently sunny position. It tolerates limestone. The addition of compost at planting is recommended. It can sometimes be invasive.

'Rosenschale' can withstand competition from bush roots and does not need staking. Plant it at the back of a bed with Aster divaricatus or Cimicifugas.
