Description

Collection of 6 perennial Geranium macrorrhizum in 3 varieties: Geranium macrorrhizum 'Bevan's Variety', with magenta pink flowers, 'Spessart', with white flowers shaded with pink, and 'Czakor', with violet pink flowers.

Geranium macrorrhizum are excellent plants that every enthusiast should have in their garden due to the invaluable services they provide in stifling weeds, both in shade and in full sun.

The trunk with trailing rhizomes bears evergreen leaves that are hairy and palmate, highly aromatic, with variable green colour, embellished with superb autumnal colours, red or orange, which persist throughout the winter. Very carpeting, Geranium macrorrhizum are very useful for covering the ground under large trees in dry shade or dressing the slopes of a shaded embankment.
