Description
The Achillea ptarmica 'Nana Compacta' is a beautiful dwarf variety, with flowers grouped in small heads of pure white with a silvery heart.
An easy-to-grow perennial, this yarrow has semi-trailing rootstocks. Less invasive than the wild species, but just as hardy, it is shorter and more compact, forming 20cm (8in) tall mats. It should be grown in full sun, in light, moist, and fertile soil. It is one of the few species that can tolerate partial shade and heavy soils.
