The double flowered Amaryllis or Hippeastrum, with its large and spectacular flowers, is an essential bulb to grow inside during the winter. With various shapes and colours, solid and intense red in the Amaryllis 'Double Dragon' or bicoloured like the Amaryllis 'Double Record', with double flowers that are white with red edges, the grand theatrical corollas of amaryllis bloom in warmth approximately 6 to 8 weeks after planting in autumn, depending on the room temperature. Intended for "forcing" in indoor cultivation, these bulbs are large and have undergone a preparation that involves placing them in cold temperatures for a few weeks. Keep the pot in a well-lit and well-heated place if you want to accelerate flowering, or keep them cool at 10°C (50°F) to slow it down. Fertiliser is unnecessary before flowering, but necessary afterwards to replenish the bulb's reserves.

We deliver bulbs of size 34/36, with ample reserves guaranteeing exceptional flowering.

You'll adore them!
