Description

Bush with a rustic appearance and decorative golden yellow foliage.

Its white flowers are grouped in balls in May-June, followed by small red fruits tinged with green in late summer-autumn.

With a bushy habit and fairly rapid growth, it is often used as a hedgerow plant.

Recently obtained from Minier Nurseries (2003).

Planting and care

Any soil, even relatively dry and chalky. Prefers a sunny exposure for good colouration. At the end of winter, prune the old branches back hard to rejuvenate them and cut back one-third of the young shoots to maintain good flowering and a compact habit.
