Description

The South and Seaside Smart Grass Seed is a blend of carefully selected grasses known for their robustness and low water requirements. It enables you to create a beautiful lawn in all conditions with a warmer climate, including shaded or sunny areas, high traffic or low traffic areas, heavy or light soil, limestone or acidic soil, as well as accommodating the habits of amateur gardeners. This combination of grass seeds quickly establishes a thick turf that remains dense under all circumstances. The seeds should be sown in March or April in the sun, in soil that has been well-prepared and loosened. One kilogram of seed can cover an area of up to 40 square metres.

Composition:

  • Mycosem: a lawn seed coating solution containing mycorrhiza propagules, it promotes growth and root system function.
  • 10% English Perennial Ryegrass 4N FABIAN: has very high resistance to heavy footfall, drought, and cold, while presenting a deeper shade of green.
  • 60% Tall Fescue ESSENTIAL
  • 10% Creeping Red Fescue HEIDRUN
  • 10% Cynodon LAPRIMA (selected Bermuda grass)
  • 10% Meadow Fescue YVETTE
  • Non-forage use

Product characteristics and advantages:

- Varieties are specifically selected to harmonise with each other and for their adaptation abilities, ensuring a homogeneous lawn suitable for different garden conditions.

- Mycorrhizal seeds have significant user and environmental benefits: reduced maintenance, low nutritional inputs, and little irrigation after establishment.

Usage and dosage:

  • 1 kg: up to 40 m²
  • Sowing rate: approximately 25 g/m²

In cooler climates, use the Smart Continental Lawn.

Planting and care

Sowing:

Sow directly in March-April (sow in September-October in hot and dry climates) in well-prepared, weed-free, refined and raked soil. Scatter the seeds on the soil surface and lightly rake to cover the seeds. Alternatively, use a roller to ensure the seeds stick to the soil. Regularly water with a fine spray to keep the soil slightly moist until germination if there is no rain.

Dosage:

  • 1 box of 1 kg for 40 m², approximately 25 g/m²
