Description

The Red Label Natural Garden Lawn is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy their outdoor space. This lawn is made of next-generation grasses that are naturally resistant to water stress and diseases and selected for their density-quick establishment. Combining these varieties lets you maintain your lawn without synthetic phytosanitary products. The mixture can create a beautiful short grass meadow or reseed bare areas of an existing lawn. For best results, sow the seeds in March or April in a sunny location with well-prepared, loosened soil. One kilogram of the seed mixture can cover up to 40 m² for new lawns or 65 m² for reseeding bare areas.

Planting and care

Sowing:

Sow directly in March-April (sow in September-October in hot and dry climates) in well-prepared, weed-free, refined and raked soil. Scatter the seeds on the soil surface and lightly rake to cover the seeds. Alternatively, use a roller to ensure the seeds stick to the soil. Regularly water with a fine spray to keep the soil slightly moist until germination if there is no rain.

Dosage:

  • 1 box of 1 kg for 50 m², approximately 20 g/m²

To reseed bare areas of the lawn: 1 kg for 65 m²

  • Rake the soil to remove plant debris and small rocks.
  • Prepare a mixture of topsoil and compost.
  • Spread about 1 cm (0.4 in) of this mixture on the areas to be repaired.
  • Rake it in so that it penetrates the surface of the soil.
  • Level the surface with a roller or a plank.
  • Then sow your lawn for reseeding.
  • Cover the seeds with a very thin layer of soil and press down well.
  • Water with a very fine spray to avoid disturbing the seeds.
