Description

My Meadow Lawn is a mixture of hardy and vigorous grasses that allows for turfing large areas as well as the creation of pasture for horses, goats, and sheep. This composition establishes a lush green carpet that develops throughout the seasons. Less demanding of water and maintenance than a traditional lawn, this meadow can also be used for false sowing. The seeds are preferably sown in March-April by broadcasting, in the sun, in well-prepared and loosened soil. A 5kg bag covers up to 500m².

Composition:

  • 20% Perennial Ryegrass GREENGOLD
  • 40% Perennial Ryegrass CAPRI
  • 20% Italian Ryegrass DANERGO
  • 20% Tall Fescue GALATEA

Product Features and Benefits:

  • Dense and vigorous
  • Hardy grass coverage
  • Possibility of mixing with white clover

Usage and Dosage:

  • 5 kg bag: up to 500 m²
  • Sowing dosage: 10-15 g/m²
  • 1 handful = approx.10 g = to sow approx. 4m²

* False sowing is a farming technique that is practiced 3 to 4 weeks before the actual sowing and is intended to reduce the development and competition of "weeds" on the upcoming crop. This technique helps to reduce the stock of seeds contained in the soil.

Planting and care

Sowing:

Sow directly in place in March-April, in well-prepared, weed-free, refined and raked soil. Sow by broadcasting on the surface of the soil and lightly rake to cover the seeds. You can optionally use a roller to ensure good adhesion of the seeds to the soil. Regularly water with a fine mist to keep the soil slightly moist until germination if it doesn't rain.

Dosage:

  • 5kg bag: up to 500m2
  • Sowing rate: 10 to 15 g/m2
  • 1 handful = approx. 10g = for approx. 4m2
