Description

The Hardy Lawn is a blend of sturdy, low-maintenance grass that allows you to create a beautiful lawn with minimal upkeep and water in all areas. This mixture establishes a dense and fine carpet quickly, which remains green in winter and summer if the soil remains a bit moist. This mixture is naturally robust and can be used on all types of soils, including clay and heavy ones. You should sow the seeds in March-April or early autumn, in a well-prepared and loosened soil, under direct sunlight. One kilogram of seeds can cover up to 35 square metres.

Composition:

  • Mycosem: a lawn seed coating solution containing mycorrhizal propagules that promotes growth and root system functioning.
  • 20% English Ryegrass 4N FABIAN
  • 20% Creeping Red Fescue MYSTIC
  • 60% Tall Fescue ESSENTIAL or GREENFRONT

Product characteristics and benefits:

  • very good resistance to heavy footfall, low maintenance, little watering, very good appearance
  • Eco-sustainable Lawn Label

Usage and dosage:

  • 1 kg: up to 35 m²
  • Sowing rate: approximately 28 g/m²

In regions with hot and dry weather, it can be challenging to maintain a green lawn without watering during summer. Without proper watering, the lawn can turn brown and dry, and resemble a doormat. However, as soon as it starts raining again, the lawn will regain its green colour.

Planting and care

Sowing:

Sow directly in March-April (sow in September-October in hot and dry climates), in a well-prepared, weed-free, refined and raked soil. Scatter the seeds on the soil surface and lightly rake to cover the seeds. Alternatively, use a roller to ensure that the seeds stick to the soil. Regularly water with a fine spray to keep the soil slightly moist until germination if there is no rain.

Dosage:

  • 1 box of 1 kg for 35 m², approximately 28 g/m²
