Our range of Agastaches with yellow or orange flowers. Derived from Agastache aurantiaca, such as the varieties 'Orangeade', 'Tango' or 'Apricot Sprite', from Agastache mexicana or even from A. rupestris, these are often varieties of rather dry terrain, with aromatic foliage, which flower generously from spring to summer. Their long upright stems are filled with numerous finely tubular and very melliferous flowers. Among the cultivars with yellow flowers, let's mention 'Kudos Gold' and 'Kudos Yellow', compact (50cm (20in)) and easy to grow in pots as well as in open ground. Agastaches in this group tolerate more or less well the cold and damp weather in our climate: offer them well-drained soil, not too dry in summer, nor too rich, in full sun. Planted in a pot, in a rockery or simply in a slightly wild flower bed, accompanied by Gauras, Nepetas and Sedums, they bring colour and life to any setting.
