Not bad, but you'll need to double the dosage... I had to buy twice as much as I had ordered to cover 50m². It's starting to get expensive.

Description

This Dry Ground Meadow mix, which brings together flowers selected for their tolerance to summer drought, is ideal for beautifying bare ground. Robust and undemanding, these plants grow without the need for care, in any type of soil, and offer beautiful flowering from the first year while creating a natural refuge for many beneficial insects. The seeds will be sown directly in place, by broadcasting, at the end of summer or in spring, in the sun, in well-prepared soil. The meadow thus created will flower for several years, from spring to summer.

This selection consists of 29 species of perennial and annual plants. The annuals flower 6 to 8 weeks after sowing, while the perennial plants, which live for several years, will flower from the second spring. All these plants show rather rapid growth and some self-seed spontaneously in the garden, in ordinary and well-drained soil. One packet of seeds can cover up to 100 square metres. The size of the flowering plants ranges from 30 to 60 cm (12 to 24in) in height.

Sample composition: Nigella damascena, Cheiranthus, Echium plantagineum, Linum perenne, etc...

A wildflower meadow combines usefulness with pleasure: flowering throughout the season while requiring very little maintenance, varied and colourful, it promotes biodiversity and brings the charm of the countryside to the garden. Invite nature into your garden: sow our flower mixes in a slightly neglected area, on a large slope, or in the back of a garden bordering the countryside.

Planting and care

Sowing: from September-October, or from March to early June

Turn over the soil. Depending on the surface, you can use a rototiller or agricultural equipment.  • Refine, rake, level, remove stones and weeds.  • Mix the contents of the packet with an equivalent volume of dry sand to achieve a better distribution of the seeds.  • Sow by broadcasting on the surface, similar to sowing a lawn.  • Roll or compact the soil to bring the seeds into contact with the ground.  • Water and keep moist until germination.

Sow approximately 5g per m²

Examples:

• 50 m2: weigh out 250 grams
• 100 m2: use the entire box
