I am delighted! The result is enchanting, with water lilies and in a free-spirited manner (I left a large part of the herbs). All my daffodils have bloomed very well and in a long-lasting way. I never tire of admiring the scene from the window of my kitchen!

Planting and care

Plant the bulbs in autumn, from September to December, at a depth of 15cm (6in), spacing them 10cm (4in) apart. Plant in ordinary, slightly acidic, neutral, or slightly alkaline, loose, well-worked, and well-drained soil. Never add undecomposed manure or compost to the planting soil, as this could cause the bulbs to rot. They will thrive in moist to dry soil. Plant in a sunny or semi-shady location. After flowering, the foliage becomes unsightly. We recommend planting Heuchera, Foamflowers, Brunnera, Bleeding Heart, or Cypress Spurge, at the forefront of your flower beds. Their foliage will enhance the colours of your tulips, and during the season, they will gracefully conceal their yellowed leaves.
