Symphoricarpos doorenboosii Magical Candy

Symphoricarpos x doorenbosii Magical Candy is a bush with a very compact habit that is interesting for its beautiful colourful berries. In May-June, the bush discreetly flowers in clusters of small bell-shaped white flowers. This flowering attracts pollinators.

From August until the first frost, the flowers give way to a profusion of large fuchsia pink berries. These berries are grouped together in clusters and are the main feature of the bush. Symphoricarpos x doorenbosii Magical Candy has deciduous and healthy leaves which can grow up to 4 cm (1.6 in) long and are dark green with lighter undersides.

This symphoricarpos is a very hardy bush. When fully grown, it can reach a height of up to 1.5 m (4 in 11 ft). Its small size makes it ideal for low hedges or in flower beds alongside evergreen bushes or other flowering plants. You can even grow Symphoricarpos Magical Candy in a pot on your terrace. Its branches laden with fruits can be used to make beautiful autumn bouquets.
