I have received a beautiful young plant that hasn't suffered during transportation. It is currently in the greenhouse as the soil is too moist due to the rain.

Planting and care

If you want to enjoy the winter flowering of Hamamelis (x) intermedia 'Arnold Promise', plant it in a prominent place in the garden. However, it is sensitive to limestone, so it should be grown in ericaceous soil or, at the very least, non-limestone soil enriched with leaf compost. It's important to note that Hamamelis plants do not like limestone soils, and they show it by yellowing their leaves in summer and reducing their flowering. Therefore, mixing ericaceous soil during planting is recommended to promote its growth.
