Description

Chionanthus is aptly nicknamed Snow Tree or Fringe Tree. Its abundant white flowers in long fringed panicles (20cm) are remarkable and slightly fragrant.

Its foliage consists of long shiny green leaves measuring 15 to 20cm (5.9 - 7.9in).

Plant it alone or in combination with other bushes. Its habit is spreading, and you can prune the lower branches to create a trunk.

Plant it in acidic soil where it will receive the most sunlight to promote its flowering.
