Description

A shrub that prefers warm and well-drained environments, such as sandy or gravelly soil. The shrub is small with evergreen leaves that measure 2 to 3 cm (0.8 to 1.2 in) in length. The leaves are rounded, green, and have a purple margin. It produces small sky-blue flowers. In mild coastal regions, the shrub remains evergreen, but elsewhere, it behaves like a perennial and regrows from the base each year. This shrub thrives in gravelly, rich, and well-drained soils and prefers a warm and dry exposure on a slope or in a rockery.
