Thanks to Ludivine, who prepared the order, and GD from the shipping department, the rose bush I received is healthy. Planted near the 'Variegata di Bologna', 'Galica Versicolor', 'Henri Matisse', and 'Julio Iglesias' rose bushes, I am now looking forward to seeing its growth...Note: I received it with the variety label (essential to identify the rose bush in all seasons)." Analysis of the translated text: - The translation is accurate and conveys the intended meaning of the original text. - The use of "rose bush" instead of "rosier" is appropriate and commonly used in British English. - The translation of "préparation de commande" as "prepared the order" is correct and idiomatic. - The use of "shipping department" instead of "service expédition" is appropriate in a British English context. - The translation of "Mis en terre" as "Planted" is accurate and idiomatic. - The use of "I am now looking forward" instead of "j'attends de voir maintenant" is a more natural way to express anticipation in British English. - The translation of "son évolution" as "its growth" is appropriate and captures the intended meaning. - The use of "variety label" instead of "étiquette variétale" is accurate and commonly used in British English.

Description

The 'Guillaume Gomez' ('PANstri') Rose , named after the famous chef of the Élysée Palace, offers large flamboyant and fragrant roses with a variegated robe of wine red, pink, and white. It is a fairly low bush, with flexible vegetation, dressed in light green foliage that is not very susceptible to diseases, and blooms regularly from June until the first frost. It will be superb in a flower bed or planted in groups of 3 to 5 in a small massif. Its flowers are also very beautiful in bouquets.

The 'Guillaume Gomez' Rose was obtained in France by Bernard Panozzo before 2016. This hybrid tea rose belongs to the Floribunda group, whose flowers are grouped in corymbs or small bouquets.

The plant forms a ramified bush with rapid growth. It will reach approximately 90cm (35in) in height, with a spread of 60cm (24in)From May-June until late in the season, on foliage composed of large, slightly shiny, light green leaflets, small bouquets of 8-10cm (3-4in) diameter roses bloom. They are composed of 50 to 60 petals with slightly fringed edges, arranged regularly. Their colour varies, but they are all more or less striated and flamed with dark red and pale pink on a white background. Their fragrance is of medium intensity. The disease resistance of this rose is respectable under good growing conditions. This deciduous shrub is very hardy and loses its leaves in autumn. It will thrive when planted in a rich, deep soil that remains cool in summer.

This modern 'Guillaume Gomez' rose will find its place in the garden in a large rose bed, at the front of a shrub bed, or as a solitary plant in a well-kept small garden. The variegated colour of its flowers pairs well with white, pink, or purple blooms. Also consider planting it near very easy-to-grow plants such as perennial geraniums (Geranium 'Blue Cloud', 'Rozanne', 'Anne Folkard', 'Nimbus', 'Orion'), campanulas (lactiflora, rapunculoides), catmints, perennial salvias, foxgloves... Dwarf buddleias also make lovely companions for bush roses. Its flowers can be used to create baroque or romantic bouquets.

Planting and care

To install your 'Guillaume Gomez' rose bush, work your soil to a depth of 25cm (10in) by loosening the soil and placing a base amendment such as dried blood or dehydrated horn at the bottom of the planting hole. Position your plant, free from its pot, covering the top of the root ball with 3cm (1in) of soil. Fill in and water generously to eliminate air pockets. In dry weather, it is necessary to water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate root growth. Also, remember to provide your rose bush with special rose fertilizer that stimulates plant flowering. Choose a sunny location, or partial shade in very hot regions.
