The felling lever is used to direct the fall of a tree and facilitate the breaking of the trunk through a simple lever effect. It is also used to rotate wood logs, especially if equipped with a device for attaching such an accessory. It is inserted into a cut called the felling cut, facing a larger cut called the felling notch. These two cuts are made with a chainsaw or saw, depending on the trunk diameter. The felling lever allows the tree to be inclined, initiating its fall over the breaking reserve in the direction determined by the notch. It is important to keep the back straight and use the muscles of the thighs to exert the inclination pressure. The felling lever should not be used by pushing it, as the user may risk tipping over and falling over the tree.

Detailed features

Directions for use The felling lever is used to direct the fall of a tree and facilitate the breaking of the trunk, by simple lever action. It is inserted into a notch called the felling cut, facing a larger notch called the felling mark. These two notches have been previously made using a chainsaw or a saw, depending on the diameter of the trunk. The felling lever allows the tree to be tilted, initiating its fall over the break reserve in the direction determined by the notch. It is important to maintain a straight back and use the muscles of the thighs to exert the tilting pressure. The felling lever should not be used by pushing it, as the user could risk tipping over and falling over the tree. This model is equipped with a support where a log turner can be attached to rotate the trunk. Store this tool in a dry place, sheltered from bad weather.
