Directions for use This pruning shears allows you to cut green branches or living wood, measuring up to 4 cm (2in) in diameter, on subjects that require a tool with a wider reach. The blades are smooth and sharp on this model, which is more suitable for non-fibrous wood. It can be used for all types of trees, conifers, bamboo, bushes, fruit trees, hedges, and climbing plants. Use it like a large pair of scissors, using both hands. To adjust the length of the arms, simply hold one end and rotate the other 90 degrees (194°F) to unlock it. Pull the arm to the desired length and then lock it by rotating in the opposite direction. Clean the blades with alcohol after use, as this prevents the transmission of diseases from one plant to another, and also helps to keep your tool in good condition for longer (the sap from certain plants can attack the blades or make them sticky over time). Store this tool in a dry place, protected from the weather.
