This long bill hook by Polet has a steel blade that cuts from both sides: the curved edge cuts small branches, while the flat edge cuts thicker wood. Directions for use This double-edged bill hook is used for pruning perennials and bushes with young, still green, small diameter and flexible wood, as well as for picking flowers. It is also used for pruning small branches or for clearing brush. The flat side allows cutting slightly thicker branches. Clean the blade with alcohol after use, this action helps prevent the transmission of diseases from one plant to another, as well as keeping your tool in good condition for a long time (the sap of some plants can attack the blades or make them sticky over time). It is advisable to use a lubricating spray to clean and protect the blade from rust. Sharpen it at the slightest sign of weakness. Store this tool away from bad weather, in a dry place.
