Description

Scabiosa caucasica 'Fama' is a perennial plant forming a beautiful dark green clump of entire or slightly dissected lanceolate leaves. The flexible stems bear large flowers grouped in heads of an intense blue colour.

It prefers a warm position, in rich but well-drained soil. We have tested it in different situations, and it thrives best on a slope in a rockery, alongside agastaches, catananches, and silenes.
