Description

The Sanguisorba officinalis 'Chocolate Tip' is a perennial that forms very stiff inflorescences on which small purple-chocolate flowers of rare intensity gravitate.

Large perennial plant forming a robust stump with strong fleshy roots. In spring, it has a large rosette of compound leaves of a tender green colour. From May, large very stiff inflorescences bloom into small ovate chocolate flowers.

The Sanguisorba 'Chocolate Tip' is suitable for herbaceous borders, meadows in a natural style or contemporary-style beds. Plant it in deep, moist, and well-drained soil.
