Thanks to Max for the order preparation and Laetitia V. from the shipping department, the 3 young plants received seem healthy. Planted near a Eriobotrya japonica, I am now patiently waiting for them to take root... (or not?).

Description

Phlox subulata White Delight, commonly known as moss phlox, is an excellent groundcover with a spreading habit.  It is very floriferous and fast-growing. Ideal for rock gardens, wall borders, or in containers on a sunny patio.

This very hardy perennial forms a compact, evergreen carpet. The White Delight moss phlox has 2cm (1in) long, linear, opposite leaves of a medium green colour on prostrate stems that root easily. In April, beautiful star-shaped flowers measuring 2cm (1in) in diameter, which are pure white, completely cover the foliage, transforming the plant into a dense carpet of flowers.

Originally from the United States, Phlox subulata White Delight thrives in well-drained, light soil, even in dry conditions and in sunny locations. It is a robust plant that forms a lovely cascade of flowers along a wall and brightens up rock gardens. Pair it with aubrietas, saxifrages, or botanical tulips.
