I don't think it will ever produce any flowers at my place. My soil is too dry. It doesn't spread much and only has a few leaves. I read in your fact sheet that it prefers moist or wet soils. It's a shame because I really like this ground cover.

Description

The Persicaria (Polygonum) affinis Donald Lowndes is a ground cover variety, bearing numerous pale pink spikes of flowers that turn red as they fade.

Easy to grow, this lovely campanulate knotweed blooms continuously from early summer to autumn. A very adaptable perennial, it grows almost anywhere, only a scorching summer accompanied by dry and dusty soil can defeat it.

This lovely campanulate knotweed is planted along the edge of a bed or along a path, it grows alongside companion bellflower, ophiopogon, and heucheras.
