Hello, This is a feedback on the young plant after unpacking. Unfortunately, the young plant looks beautiful and healthy, but the main stem is broken off at ground level. It is probably due to transportation as the breakage appears recent judging by the leaves. Perhaps the support was insufficient for this well-developed plant. We will wait until spring...

Description

Excellent perennial plants, some of which have been used in gardens for a long time, all of which, with one exception (L. chalcedonica), prefer a light, porous, and well-drained soil. Beautiful perennial plant forming well-defined clumps with upright stems. Lanceolate, bright green leaves. The bright red flowers with bifid petals, arranged flat in the typical manner and forming a cross, are here superimposed in several rows, giving the impression of small pompons grouped in dense heads. They also last longer than those of the species.

Planting and care

In regions with clayey, heavy and damp soil, only the scree garden, the slope of an embankment and the rockery can accommodate them without risks. In a stony or sandy soil, it is not uncommon for most of them to self-seed spontaneously. For all ordinary soils. Tolerates clayey soils well when they are well-drained.
