Order delivered very quickly, the young plant was well packaged and arrived in very good condition. I'm looking forward to seeing the first buds in spring.

Planting and care

Plant in a sunny spot with rich and moist soil. Cut the flowers to make bouquets. This will also stimulate growth and will make the plant stronger. At the beginning of winter, cut them back to 50cm (20in) above the first buds. Mulch your plants in areas with cold winters. You can also give them a shaping pruning in spring. These plants have a lifespan of 5 to 6 years. In large flower beds, replace one plant out of three each year. Lavateras are easily propagated by cuttings.
