Helleborus niger Double Fashion is a very unique variety. This Christmas rose has double, pure white flowers.
This Christmas Rose is rare in cultivation and highly sought after by enthusiasts of original perennials. Throughout the winter, this magnificent hellebore produces a large number of white flowers with several rows of petals.
Its evergreen foliage is much more ordinary, it regenerates in spring and must be cut back at this time.
Very hardy and easy to grow, Helleborus niger Double Fashion thrives in partial shade, in any rich, moist, and light soil.

Planting and care
Hellebores grow in most types of soil. They thrive in soil that has been deeply dug and mixed with organic matter. To feed, use bone meal or another organic fertilizer. In acidic soil, add a little lime. Water the plants well then add a layer of mulch 2 to 5 cm (1 to 2in) thick. Regularly remove dead leaves. For species with leaves emerging from the ground, such as orientalis, cut most of the leaves to highlight the flowers. Make sure not to plant too close to each other to promote their development.
