The plants are very beautiful, I planted them today so I can't say much more but I feel good about it, they are in very good health, no reason why they won't establish themselves peacefully....

Description

Erigeron Professor Korodi is a small perennial with double flowers with pure white florets and a golden yellow centre. It resembles a small spring daisy.

Also known as Fleabane, the typical variety of this Asteraceae is native to the great plains and mountainous areas of North America.

It is a well-branched plant with upright stems reaching 50 cm (20in) in height and a long and abundant flowering period. Numerous flowers, 2 cm (1in) in diameter appear from June to September. The white ligulate flowers are finer than those of asters to which they bear a strong resemblance. The side stems, often longer than the main stem, give the Erigeron its characteristic candelabra-like habit.

Its deciduous foliage, of a deep green colour, forms tufts with lanceolate leaves and creates ideal groundcover or plants for flower beds. The Erigeron is not very demanding and adapts to all types of soil. It prefers well-draining soils and does not tolerate waterlogged conditions. Consider using it to decorate a rockery or border a wall, alongside Red Valerian Centranthus ruber coccineus or Erigeron Dunkelste Aller. A nectar plant, our little Fleabane is also appreciated as a cut flower in wild bouquets.

Planting and care

Plant Erigeron Professor Korodi in moist, neutral to limestone soil, even rocky, in rock gardens or in well-draining flower beds and in full sun. You can cut the faded flowers to extend the flowering period. Easy to grow, it requires no special care, but it is sensitive to excessive moisture in winter. You can easily divide the clumps in spring.
