Description

Almost exclusively native to South America, this genus includes some perennial species which are very hardy and of great interest to gardeners.

Forming a cushion with reddish shoots which creeps via its underground stems. Tiny ovate leaves and small bright yellow flowers, in twos or threes on slender stalks.
