Delivery times and packaging were excellent. However, the young plants received were pruned, even though pruning is not recommended for a field of plants; as you rightly remind us in your articles and videos. I don't understand, and I would appreciate an explanation. Thank you.

Description

Carex conica 'Snowline' is a dwarf variety. It has a very flexible tuft-like habit. Its attractive and evergreen foliage is dark green with wide silver margins, adding brightness to the garden. Its pure white flowering occurs in summer. This lovely grass grows very slowly and only reaches a respectable size after several years of cultivation. Its almost evergreen foliage will be beautifully complemented by a plant like Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens'.

Carex conica 'Snowline' likes sun or partial shade, and is easy to grow. Plant it in well-drained and rich soil. It doesn't tolerate competition from other plants, but integrates perfectly into shady rock gardens and borders, and can easily be grown in pots.

Planting and care

Plant in a hole measuring 20x20x20cm (8x8x8in). If your soil is heavy, mix some compost with the crumbled soil, partially fill the hole, and place the plant so that the top of the root ball is covered with 3cm (1in) of soil. Firmly press down the soil and water generously to eliminate air pockets. In dry weather, you will need to water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate the establishment of your young plant.
