Désherbeur De Pypere manche frêne 14 cm
14 cm (6in) Ash handle Weeder By De Pypere
We guarantee the quality of our plants for a full growing cycle, and will replace at our expense any plant that fails to recover under normal climatic and planting conditions.
This De Pypere Weed Remover is a small hand tool specially designed to eliminate thistles and other unwanted plants with taproots that often invade the lawn. It is equipped with a short ash handle and a specific head with two long pointed teeth. The original shape of this head allows for leverage, which prevents excessive damage to the lawn when removing the unwanted plant. Its ash handle is short, which means it is used in a kneeling position. It is a clever, high-quality, and sturdy tool that will last for many years.
Handle length: 14 cm (6in).
This weed remover has an ash handle, known for its hardness and lightness, with a metal socket where the head is attached. This head is curved and widened in its middle part and has two small flat teeth at its end, arranged in a fork, with sharp and cutting edges. The narrow and precise tool can slip between plants or into the lawn to dislodge the "weeds" that can be easily picked up and eliminated. The two teeth penetrate the soil, just at the base of the plant. It is possible to repeat the operation all around the base to free the root. A lever movement will be enough to dislodge the root, without damaging the lawn. It is a small hand tool suitable for relatively light soils. Remember to work in a kneeling position to protect your back. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable. Among the weeds with taproots are thistles, dandelions, purslanes, docks, plantains, celandines... Act quickly on relatively young plants and weeding will be easier and more effective.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
