A small traditional hand fork with an ash handle, equipped with a two-pronged head. This garden tool is designed for weeding small areas and removing roots, aerating and loosening the soil in tight spaces, flower beds, and planters. Its head is hand-forged from boron steel.

This small traditional De Pypere hand fork, with its two long and pointed prongs, is ideal for weeding, removing roots, aerating, and loosening the soil in small areas, tight spaces, or hard-to-reach places. Equipped with a short, sturdy ash handle, this hand fork has a hand-forged head with a steel body and a boron steel finish. Lightweight, manoeuvrable, and durable, it is a well-crafted tool that will last for many years.

Dimensions: prong length: 15 cm (6in). Handle length: 14 cm (6in).

The hand fork is one of the essential tools for gardening, and one of the first to acquire due to its versatility. This high-quality model consists of a handle made of sustainably managed natural ash wood, known for its hardness and lightness, with a metal socket where the head is attached. Forged from carbon steel, it is resistant to shocks, torsion, and corrosion thanks to the boron steel finish. This hand fork can be used to loosen the surface soil while removing the roots of 'weeds'. It is valuable for working the top few centimetres of soil in small spaces, as it can manoeuvre around plants that are too close together for a wider hoe to pass through. With its short handle, this model is particularly suitable for raised vegetable beds or flower pots. Remember to work with bent knees if you are cleaning a traditional flower bed, to protect your back. The handle of this hand fork is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable.

The traditional De Pypere range includes high-quality tools, all made of forged steel and equipped with ash handles.

The boron steel coating on the teeth or blades is very hard and resistant, making it a valuable material for tools that can be heavily used in the garden.

This tool is under warranty. The warranty does not apply to handles or grips, only to the metal parts except consumables (screws, springs, etc.), and within the scope of normal use.
