Traditional garden rake by De Pypere

This traditional De Pypere rake, equipped with a sturdy ash wood handle, is a particularly robust tool due to the support fixed on both sides of its head. The garden rake, sometimes called a lawn rake, is a hand tool used to gather leaves, grass clippings, and small twigs, refine and level the surface of freshly dug or weeded soil, or smooth gravel pathways. It is also used for scarifying the lawn, which means scratching and aerating the grass while removing moss. This model consists of a handle made from sustainably managed natural ash wood, known for its hardness, with a metal socket where the 13-tine head is attached, forged from toughened steel that is resistant to impact, twisting, and corrosion due to the boron steel finish. The 'apple' shaped handle is rounded at its end and features a hole for hanging it on a hook or nail. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable.
