The Leborgne all-steel dibber is a small, robust and very practical tool for planting and transplanting young plants, in pots, in planters or in the vegetable garden. Its pointed end easily penetrates well-tilled soils: it allows for quick and easy planting holes, in which the gardener can insert the young plants and even large seeds. Its perforated handle allows for hanging storage. Assembled in France.

Dimensions: Total length: 26 cm (10in), Weight: approximately 0.3 kg

The dibber is a small hand tool with a conical and pointed end. It allows for quickly creating small and pointed planting holes, a particularly useful gesture when a large number of small plantings need to be done. Simply push it into the ground with the point facing down, pressing on the handle, and immediately remove it. Place the plant or seed at the bottom of the hole. Fill and tamp, either with the head of the tool or with your hands. Use the dibber to sow your larger seeds directly in the ground or in pots, such as sunflower seeds, squash seeds, or sweet pea seeds. It can also be used for transplanting small seedlings from sowings, such as vegetable plugs and annuals. Opt for transplanting trowels for small annuals and perennials in plug plants, whose larger root balls require wider holes. Specific bulb planters are also available. They are better suited for digging flat-bottomed holes at a good depth. The Leborgne dibber, made entirely of torsion-resistant steel, features a pointed conical head and a perforated handle, allowing it to be hung on a wall rack.
