Description
The 'Cosmos Flamingo' is a perennial variety of cosmos, semi-hardy, and produces countless candy pink flowers from June to October.
This tuberous plant forms a clump of medium green, highly dissected leaves. In late spring, it bears candy pink flowers on sturdy stems, reaching a height of 1m (3ft)-1.20m (4ft) until the first frost.
Like its little brother, the 'Cosmos Chocolat', this variety forms tuberculate roots reminiscent of those of dahlias. Moderately hardy, this plant grows in sunny, rich, and well-drained soil. However, the tubers should be dug up in late autumn and stored in a frost-free location.
